PET and CT results for my dad have been returned - while we wait for the doctors to interpret, we believe that it looks as if the cancer has not spread beyond the esophagus.
Mom has been cleared to go home - bags are packed and we're waiting for discharge papers. She has pants on y'all.
We know it's still a long journey for both of them to have complete healing, but we absolutely take this as a win.
Onward, forward.
