Asking the right questions
I'm sitting in the hospital room with my mom today. It's a quiet day - as weekends often are at the hospital. My mom is in such great care - the doctors and nurses are compassionate and patient with our questions. While we understand that this is the absolute right place for her to be right now, it is disappointing that it means my mom will not be able to be physically present for the first meeting with my dad's oncologist on Tuesday. We do hope to have my mom attend through Facetime.
We are currently preparing a list of questions that may be helpful to ask the oncologist in this first meeting together. For those who have come before us, can you please share any advice or good questions to consider in the comments?
Thank you. <3
Hi!
ReplyDeleteSam & I are so sorry to hear about your mom’s & dad’s health issues. They are such great friends. Please keep us up to date about them. I wish we were closer to help you.
They are in our prayers. I have asked my friends here to keep them in their prayers.
If we can help you in any way, please let us know.
JoAnn & Sam
Thank you so much JoAnn & Sam. I'll be sure to pass this message on to my parents.
